What matters

Don’t skip the correct visa to save initial cost or time. An overstay fine and immigration blacklist is a bad deal.

Frequently asked questions

Do EU citizens need a visa for Bali? +
Yes. Visa on Arrival (VoA) covers up to 30 days, renewable once. For long stays, a specific visa is required (B211A, KITAS, Second Home, etc.).
Can I live in Bali on a tourist visa? +
Not legally. Tourist visas don't allow working or operating a business. For stable life, a KITAS or Second Home is required.
